It's time for a change... when I started this blog back in 2008, I thought it would be a great way to get my artwork out there and into the hands of the public. I wanted to share what I could do with the world and I figured this would be the best way to do so at the time. Know as I look back at it 5 years later, I realized that my world has changed significantly since then and I have found new meaning behind my work and my creativity. Over the past five years I have started and continue to teach computer animation to high school students and I am the proud mother of a soon to be one year old son. My priorities have changed and I have discovered new avenues to explore using the one thing I have always relied on; my creativity.
For that reason (among others), I am re-imagining this blog I created so long ago and taking it into a new direction. I am now going to share creative and crafty things I have done for and with my son as well as creative teaching and lesson ideas I have devised over the past few years for my students.
I am still a believer that the scholar seeks and the artist finds, but I now understand that you have to be a little bit of both to appreciate the true meaning of what it means to be a creative individual.
